Chinese designer Huishan Zhang is most commonly included in lists of upcoming Asian designers, but his accomplishments extend far beyond any tokenism. Handpicked from Central Saint Martins for an internship at Dior’s couture atelier by Delphine Arnault, Huishan became the first Chinese designer to be stocked by Barneys after annual shows at London Fashion Week.
