April 04, 2017
Rad swimming trunks are a must-have for any guy ready to hit the beach — let’s face it, when itsy bitsy Speedos are not your thing and you prefer to wear your quick dry boardshorts only for hitting the waves, the choices are few and far between. That’s why we’ve been enamored with TIMO since 2010 when Pow Foongfaungchaveng launched his line of swimming trunks that epitomises the guy that can do downtown cool as well as preppy weekends in the Hamptons- not forgetting those extended beach vacays in the tropics. TIMO’s combination of the perfect fit (flattering from all angles), big bold original prints, and the much sought after collaborations with the likes of Philip Huang (www.philiphuang.nyc) and The Archivist (if you have not heard of them yet, you heard of them here: they are incredible graphics designers and screen-printers in Bangkok) makes them the swimming trunks brand that 2mag loves most.

Since 2010 TIMO has traveled far and wide; they have been featured in magazines all over the globe and have done trade shows in Paris.
With select stores worldwide selling these trunks, there is much to love about TIMO. So here are nine fun facts you didn’t (but should) know about TIMO Trunks.

7. The TIMO logo was designed by a young Thai designer who made a name for herself working for Diane von Furstenburg and is
currently a consultant at Slowmotion.
8. Before Pow perfected the TIMO coin, he went through 39 different samples.
